Lover Reborn by J. R. Ward

If you haven’t read the other novels in the “Black Dagger Brotherhood” series (this book is #10 in the series) then I would suggest you skip this review! Oh, my God! I truly LOVED this book. Of course, I love everything by J. R. Ward but this was very special. This book pretty much tells the story of Tohrment and it’s really all about bringing that story (and entire series connected to it) to a nice conclusion. It tells his past and gives him a nice future (with even love in the works!).

I think I loved this book only because I absolutely love this series. But if you don’t know anything about these characters or you have not read at least the first four books, you will feel out of place and you might think it’s a good book. So get caught up with the stories and give LOVER REBORN a chance!

Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost

For the first review I wanted it to be for a book that really liked and something somewhat new. It wasn’t that difficult to come up with ONCE BURNED! I found this book last summer and I absolutely adored it. Okay the cover is really hot and that was what got my attention but it is also because I knew from all the nice reviews that it must have been a good book!

It’s the romantic story between Vlad Tepesh and Leila Dalton. Vlad is a vampire and he falls in love with the moral Leila.  Their love story is riddled with so much pain because both of them have painful pasts. Vlad was turned into a vampire when he was in his thirties way back in the 15th century while and Leila has supernatural powers because she has electricity in her body. Both of their backgrounds make for an interesting love story!

This series is connected to other series called NIGHT HUNTRESS. I did not read this series yet but I sure will soon! I’m currently reading the second title in this current series so I will tell you when I finish if I like it!
